Lawrence was thinking how to investigate Mr Gates. He had personal informations about him but he should get something more, he needed evidence that Gates is corrupted and deserves punishment. With this loud music even if he sat next to Brokhins table he wouldn’t hear anything. Scotch just waited as it goes, he had no possibility of approaching the suspect so he just drank his scotch and looked around. MacCalaghan made him comfortable on the chair and observed the club with his drink in his hand. He had nothing else to do, he looked at Andrei and his companions, and at the same time Lawrence searched if someone else was observing his or Brokhin’s table.

- Oh, you really are stupid. Don't you see I'm in a middle of conversation? It's rude to interrupt like this with such a topic. I'll talk to you later. - Said Brokhin.

But then the man that was sitting with Brokhin from the start joined the converstion.

- Mr. Brokin, I must say that I'm quite interested in this man's offer. Maybe talking to him now would be a good idea.

Brokhin looked at his other guest, who noded.

- All right then boy, will talk. But you will talk with all three of us or you won't talk at all.

Boss stood up and went to the back exit. All his people followed him, including Vince who had no choice really. Bodyguards were left inside the bar just next to the exit door. Others got out to the back alley.

The alley was dark, with some trash bins. There were no other people there, only the four of you.

When the boss and the rest of the group went out, Rachael started to look around the club more carefully, looking for something that would give her a hint what to do now. They couldn’t just passively sit here. She hated idleness and every minute of it was a wasted minute. She slowly moved her eyes on a completely uninteresting wall, from the back exit to the right. The thing that riveted her attention were toilet doors. They were a bit far but not too far from the ones behind which Brokhin and his guests have disappeared.
“That’s a kind of idea” – she smiled at her thoughts quietly chewing over plan, playing with the ice floating in the rest of the liquid. When she was done, she took the last sip of martini and whispered to Mia what she has made up, making sure that no-one is listening.

- You know, I think I feel a bit sick – she said after a while. – Ugh, yeah. I’m going to toilet. Maybe it’s that martini.

She got up from the seat and with a face full of pain went toward the toilet, holding the hand on the stomach. Although she was in rush, she took her time to get to the door, hoping that there was nobody there at the moment and everything will go off as good as it ought to. The first thing she noticed inside was the window. Not too big, not too small. Just right.

He sat steadily when Andrei and his companions stood from the table. He was following them with his eyes up to the exit doors. For a moment he was confused, he really didn't know what to do. It was his first time in such an action, he was soldier, not an agent. He barely remembered his last course from the investigation and espionage preparations. But it wasn't right time to hesitate, he needed to act quickly. Lawrence drunk all his whisky and left the table. He walked like drunk, even he stopped a few times looking like he would vomit. He tried to be natural, he wasn't good actor but there was hope that noone even noticed him in crowded club. Lawrence wanted to be sure that even if there were some mistrustful eyes they won't suspect him. Leaving the club he glanced ath the people there, looking if someone showed interest in him. It was obvious noone even looked at him, but he was as always suspicious. You may say he was always vigilant, even in his own house. Those were soldiers habits, essential to survive in the war time. Beyond the exit he acted same as inside the club, he didn't want to get attention, but if someone observed him he should look drunk. Stepping slowly and resisting his arm on the wall, he was making his way to the street behind the club. He wanted to get as close as possible to Andrei and listen in something, or at least gaze at Brokhins band.

Mia looked at Rachel with a little surprise. ‘Yeah, a perfect plan’, she thought, rolling her eyes.
She finished her drink and looked at the barman. She wanna think for a while, before she'll go to Rachel.
If she met somebody known at this club, what might he or she think? Probably nothing, because all of her friends were working in FBI, and everybody knew about this task. Yes, that mission wasn’t easy, apparently, but that was the first so serious task that she got. She smiled to the barman, then she sighed and went to the toilet.

- Rachel, are you okay? – she asked with a simulated care. Mia was a very good actress and that was very helpful in her job.
She went inside and looked at the FBI agent, who was standing near the window.
- Please, don’t say that we are going to overhear the conversation between them – she whispered with a big hope, but, unfortunately, she knew the answer.
Mia opened the window. Now, she only had to pray for a loud conversation between ‘the victims’.

You all managed to get close enough to hear some of the conversation. Scotch saw that there is a big garbage container in the back alley so he was able to hide behind it. Mia and Rachael were standing close to the open window and they also heard a lot. But you all come a bit too late. Brokhins friends were beating the hell out of that dandyish guy. Suddenly Brokhin told them to stop.

- All right, that will be enough for now.

He opened the back door and told his bodyguards to get that crap out of here. They took him and started to walk towards Scotch's direction.

Scotch was kneeling next to the garbage container, in the corner just beside the wall. He tried to hear something but he catched only the last words of Andrei. In few seconds his “hideout” turned into a trap. He couldn't move without alarming the Andrieis bullys. So he just sat down and leaned toward the wall, quitly. He wanted too look for someone really drunked. Maybe running away would be a better idea but not for Scotch, he wasnt among those who run away when it gets hot. So he was sitting aslant, and he hoped that this place is in enough dark shadow. He tried not to move a muscle but he was also prepared for quick action if it will be necessary.

Bodyguards were passing through the container and they didn't even see the man sitting there. Well, it was dark and they had better things to do. Lucky for Scotch. The poor man they were dragging looked awful. Blood was all over his face and he probably was unconcious. They all disapered behind the corner.

- Weird man. He really thought I will talk to him? - all men started to laugh.

- I think it's time for bussiness - said the man with short, brown hair. - We've waisted enough time.

- Oh, yes - said Brokhin. - Mr Meyer, I need your help with something. You probably heard about the new drug our fellows invented. We need to make a big deal with some Korean mafia guys. We used to hate each other, but now we're kind of partners. We want you to help to organize a good place for our meeting. And one more thing - some disinformation in CIA would be nice, fake lead or something. Is this possible to do?

- Of course - said Mr Meyer, the one that was quiet till now. - It's a matter of a few phone calls. This time tomorow I will know everything.

- Good than. Let's meet in the old "Goran's" factory tomorow at eight. You're free now.

Brokhin and his friend went insied the bar again. Mr Meyer was standing outside for a while and then went along the alley in the oppostie direction than the bodyguards.

“Little ratty scumbag. Not only he was a traitor, but he has taken part in a drug smuggle. That's the kind of people that should be kicked out from our country once and for all.” Scotch was sitting in the same place while he thought about how he hated people like Meyer. Finally he stood up and walk back to the club. He saved in his mind the words of Mr Meyer, “Let's meet in the old "Goran's" factory tomorow at eight.” Then he though about plan of disinforming CIA, he could warn them but in this case Meyer could discover that he is spied. He should only report to his supervisor in the Navy, like always. He moved to the entrance of the club hoping that there won't be any problems with going back inside the facility. He was dispatched here with the task of finding evidence againts Mr Meyer. Today it was impossible, but for next meeting he will get a camera. Scotch knew that for today his mission was over, but he wanted to check what Mr Brokhin is doing now.

The wall under the window was nice and cool. It cooled the back well and the coolness helped to focus, slow down the thoughts.
“Well, well… a new drug.” – she thought. It would be good to get a sample of that thing when the opportunity occurs. And also, it would be useful to ask some old friends if it didn’t show up on the market. The second thing was the Korean mafia. What did they have to do with Russians? Why did they hate each other? What forced them to cooperate now? And finally that man… Meyer. He seemed to be someone quite important and influential, but it would be unreasonable to follow him now.
There was nothing more to do in the club, nevertheless, it would be good to see what Brokhin is doing now. But there was also one more thing to check out… who was the guy carried away by the boss’ bodyguards? Where did they go? And what will they do with him? He didn’t look like a dead man, but they will probably kill him anyway. All in all, that was something definitely worth checking.
Rachael turned to her partner.

- Mia, listen. I want to find out what they're going to do with the one who got into trouble, but we can’t just leave Brokhin not observed yet. I’d like you to stay here for a while and have an eye on him, in case something happened. Not too long. I’m gonna follow that three on my motorbike and see where they're going. Tomorrow morning I’ll contact some people who probably can give us a hint. I’ll let you know if I find something out. We will have to meet some time before the meeting in “Goran’s” factory. If you manage to gather some info, let me know too, okay? I’ll be going. I don’t have much time if I want to find them and see anything. We’ll be in touch. See ya!

She calmly went out of the toilet. Brokhin and the other man were sitting in the same place they were before, along with the same two go-go girls. The crowd wasn’t any smaller, so Rachael could easily go out unnoticed. She decided to go toward the bar and then toward the exit. She didn’t want to walk near the Brokhin’s table.
Outside the club she started to hurry. She quickly found the motorbike, then she jumped on it and started the engine. She slowly headed for the direction the three man went, hoping that she will be lucky enough to find them. She knew she has to act with caution, but overwhelming euphoria and better mood – she was away from her white partner – were keeping her excited.
